Thailand Domestic Flights: 500 Baht Off Until 15 December
· Luxy Samui
Seven Thai airlines offer 500 baht off regular domestic fares with code FLYTODOM, for bookings from 15 October to 15 December 2026.
Domestic flights in Thailand are a little cheaper this high season. On 13 October 2026, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) announced a discount of 500 baht per flight on regular-priced domestic tickets with seven airlines, The Nation reported. The code is FLYTODOM. Bookings open on 15 October and close on 15 December 2026, and travel must take place by 15 January 2027.
Which airlines take part
According to The Nation, the seven airlines are:
- Thai Airways
- Thai AirAsia
- Thai Vietjet Air
- Bangkok Airways
- Nok Air
- Thai Lion Air
- Ezy Airlines
TAT governor Thapanee Kiatphaibool presented the campaign as part of a domestic stimulus programme. Its aims are to ease travel costs while oil prices are high and to bring income to the regions. TAT expects at least 156 million baht in tourism revenue from it.
How the discount works
- The discount is 500 baht for each flight, so up to 1,000 baht per person for a return trip.
- It applies to regular-priced domestic tickets, not to all fares.
- There is no registration. Enter the code on the airline's own website or app. Thai AirAsia also accepts it through its chat service and the AirAsia MOVE app.
- It is first come, first served, and each airline's own conditions apply.
- To get the discount on both legs, book the outward and return flights as two separate bookings.
Nomad Lawyer, a travel news site, explains the last point: a code is applied once per checkout, so a return trip booked as one ticket gets only one 500 baht reduction. The same site says seats under the offer are limited by quotas for each airline. That detail does not appear in the TAT announcement as reported by The Nation.
Who can use it
The Nation describes the offer as aimed at Thai travellers. The report does not give clear rules on nationality or residence. Neither article names Koh Samui or any specific route. Bangkok Airways, the main airline at Samui airport, is on the list, but it is not confirmed in the reports we read that every Samui route is included. Check the conditions on the airline's website before you book.
More international flights too
In the same report, The Nation cites Kasikorn Research Center, which expects scheduled international flights to Thailand to rise 5.8% in the fourth quarter of 2026 compared with a year earlier. Flights from Europe are expected to grow 28.6% and from China 21.6%, while flights from Russia and South Korea fall.
What it means for your stay
If you live in Thailand, or your trip includes a domestic flight bought separately, try the code when you book a regular fare to Samui or Surat Thani. Compare the final price with the airline's normal promotions, which may be cheaper. Book early, as the offer ends on 15 December or when seats run out. Once your flights are set, you can check villa availability for your dates.
